Description
A monkey's fist or paw is a type of knot so named because it looks somewhat like a bunched fist. It is tied at the end of a rope to serve as a weight, making it easy to throw. This type also can be used as a hand to hand weapon, but mostly used to haul a heavier line ship to ship or to a dock.
