The museum will be open 10 am - 4 pm, seven days a week, June 22 through
September 2. From that date until October 14 it will be open noon to 3
pm on weekends. According to Bill McCraw, chairman of volunteers

New Museum Exhibits
The Jamestown Historical Society has loaned us the plaque that was
mounted on a stone column near the original Beavertail Lighthouse foundation.
In 1991, Hurricane Bob toppled the column and damaged the plaque, which
has been repaired. The plaque is housed in a sturdy frame specially built
for that purpose and donated by Jack Willis of North Kingstown.
Another new addition is an interpretive panel which outlines the history
of the Beavertail Lighthouses. It is located in front of the museum. This
panel has been generously donated by Marilyn Mattera in memory of
her husband, Donald Mattera.
Ferry Days Exhibit
BLMA volunteers will be offering various Beavertail Lighthouse merchandise
for sale, including all the new items listed later in this newsletter,
